BEER MAKING ON AN ISLAND

We craft the only beer brewed on Catalina Island.

There are microbrews and then there are small batch brews.

Brewing one to two barrels a week, we definitely represent the latter.

Those barrels take one day to brew and about two weeks to ferment.

After that, there will be about 250 pints to enjoy.

The beers from Catalina Island Brew House reflect the place they were crafted. Our beers are often crafted with desalinated seawater and our barrels are cooled by seawater. Black sage, prickly pear and spruce tips are harvested on the island for use in our seasonal variations.
